Refrigerator Sensor Error

How to Fix

   1. Check for loose or disconnected connector between Main PCB and sensor.

   2. If connector is loose, reconnect or repair and retest.

   3. Measure sensor resistance across CON5 18th Pin to 17th Pin.

   4. Compare resistance to temperature chart. If resistance is 0 ohm (sensor short), replace the sensor.

   5. If resistance reads infinity/open (sensor open), replace the refrigerator.

   6. If resistance matches the table, sensor is normal — explain to customer.
